Summer mood

So, from saturday Sinead and I will not be able to blog as we are going to wales on a canal boating holiday. It promises to be a super tranquil trip and I plan to embroider,paint and collage for like the whole time. I also want to wear cute (nautical-ish) clothing and wave to cute boys as we pass them, on top of our narrowboat that will probably be named 'lucy' or something - so heres a cute outfit that would be perfect for that particular situation-

Here is a short compilation of lovely things I have purchased over the past few weeks, that I had to document. 

This completely gorgeous top was in the sale and the only one left in store was my size ( it was meant to be) I love the lace edging and the tiny pockets that you can't fit anything in, topshop

super cute bird necklace that I got for £1 in a charity shop 

VERY awesome semi-precious stone necklace that is I picked up at a car boot sale for £3.
 I really want to know what this stone is called if anyone knows pls pls tell me. 

I also purchased 'marie antoinette' for a bargain 50p also at a car boot sale. I watched it last night and like very single 
other teenage blogger gurl I loved the lavish aesthetic and awesome cakes.

should I feel this calm?

I know my blogging has been pretty lack lustre at the moment, but I promise I will be an exciting and interesting blogger after I've finished my exams!! I will- 

                    Document my outfits, more.

 Make better playlists. 

Be funny.                              

Anyway, I have purchased some very pretty things in the last few weeks, and I thought I should document them. 

I purchased a typewriter , a  cat purse for £3 from a fancy dress shop, Grimes - vision ( which is the most perfect album ) and oh comely

the best purchase of all time (i'm not exaggerating) has to be this mini typewriter I got for £3 in a charity shop, not only is adorably pocket-sized the colour matches my room perfectly. 

yesterday me and Sinead went into town, to look in party shops, for a joint party we are having in the summer, I decided to treat myself to Oh comely, The latest issue is especially beautiful, with lovely whimsical illustrations and photographs -

A few weeks ago I purchased this skirt from Topshop, Its got to be one of favourite items of clothing. It has a really cool shape, and the fluorescent flowers are just so cool.

At the moment I have really been feeling the statement jewellery vibbezzz. I've been looking out for some pretty awesome pieces in charity and antique shops, and I did purchase a very pretty necklace in a charity shop on saturday, but I have to say the place to buy awesome bling is Freedom at Topshop, I purchased two very nice necklaces for only £1.50 each!

A dragon would be a great accessory at halloween.

Even though i'm in Uganda for Halloween ( not that I mind that much ) I have had a hankering for super witchy, black and lacey outfits and pointy victorian boots. Also while watching Merlin I have been loving Morgana's black lace dress, scary dark makeup and her Dragon (I may only be able to acquire the makeup and the Dress though.)

So this weekend I met my fairy godmother Candy who I haven't seen for about 9 years. Also my best friend Annie. I took pictures of strangers (with their permission) for my art project... and that story is for another time, so I shall talk about ALL THE FASHION.
