hands up, who likes me?

all pictures from tumblr.

So, as you may have guessed, I have recently discovered and fallen in love with The Young Ones. I honestly can't believe I hadn't seen it before, I just kept forgetting and never getting round to watching it. You may have noticed that Rick is my favourite. Only because, um, RIK MAYALL IN THE 80S GUYZ YES PLS. Also I am a known Drop Dead Fred fan.

In other news, I have created a musical project full of intrigue and magicalness and sparkles so GO FORTH AND CHECKETH IT OUT HERE.

Sorry for the short post, I'm a busy girl these days.. Oh yeah I also joined OUTSIDER with a whole bunch of awesome blogger chicas (and a chico). So everything's coming up roses, hurrah!~

I need to pull it together

If I could assemble a film about curtains,  I would, it would include people standing in front of curtains and the light shining on their faces and curtains blowing in the wind.  because hell, curtains are damn pretty(and often ignored) . I know that it would not be a particularly interesting production but least it would be aesthetically pleasing. Anyway I know this is a slightly awkward blog post but anyway....curtains.

these classy ladies know that lace curtains are the way forward.

also Brightstar

Moody,scary curtains- Rebecca

my very fetching lace curtains and Sinead

*lace curtains are the absolute best

today I woke and my spirit was gone

hey y'all.

I hadn't blogged for a leetle while (<-- a="" accent="" be="" in="" p="" read="" russian="" to="">
to be honest, I haven't really had much to blog about; I've been ill and watching Border Control and Nothing to Declare aaaaall weekend and just mooching in pyjamas. so yeah, here's some STUFF (namely photos from the last Patrick Wolf gig I went to, back in December, and I'm ONLY JUST bothering to post them on here).

this one is probably my favourite, because you can see so many little details, like his shiny dms and the ruffly things round his wrists. ALSO THE FLUFFY HAIR. asddaasdfghjh.

I like this one too. kaftans all round.

diamonds are my best friends.

At the moment I have really been feeling the statement jewellery vibbezzz. I've been looking out for some pretty awesome pieces in charity and antique shops, and I did purchase a very pretty necklace in a charity shop on saturday, but I have to say the place to buy awesome bling is Freedom at Topshop, I purchased two very nice necklaces for only £1.50 each!

I have to say I'm a bit of a magpie; I like anything

suGary sWeet. those two words best sum up mine and Sophie's day. We are making a music video, so we took some videos of suburbia and pinkness and glitter and being a false, degenerate prom queen. the song is all about flitting between aesthetics and the roller coasters of teenage confidence levels.
here are some snapshots from today...

so that's a little teaser.. you'll be seeing the whole video in the next couple of days you lovely lot (;

frills and thrills.

Tomorrow Sinead and I have plans to film a music video for Sinead's new and extremely fab song 'Shrine' So I have made a mood board; to illustrate what kind look we're going for, for this film.

We love the idea of a prom queen (especially as in Britain proms aren't advanced enough to have prom queens.) Also Sinead's song includes lyrics about prom queens. Sooooo, we are going for a 1950's frills and thrills to suburban waste-land journey type thing.

If you didn't understand any of that I am sorry and you'll just have to wait for the music video to understand.

lots of love
