Some Like it Hot

I watched Some Like it Hot for the first time last night, and must say I loved it. Except I found Jack Lemmon intensely annoying in it, so I'm not even going to bother writing about him or putting a picture of him in this post. Harsh but fair, it's my opinion c:

Tony Curtis (picture not from film) - must say I do find him attractive in the film. When he isn't cross-dressing, that is -he's weirdly convincing as a 1920s woman. But honestly, I feel so weird admitting it but he was one beautiful man.

And of course, beauty of beauties, Marylin steals the show as always in her role as ukulele-playing Sugar. She's just too adorable. That line right near the end; "wait for Sugar!" is just so cute I could cry. But I won't cry because Marylin makes me so so happy. One other thing; the outfits she wears in Some Like it Hot are outrageous even by today's standards!

Adorable. The level of attractiveness is unbearable. They're so cute together at the end of the film, I can't even afgbalgoek;,le.

OUTRAGEOUS DRESS. But made of sparkle, so I forgive her. Also her fluffy thing is very gorgeous and looks EVER so soft, although unfortunately probably real fur :c

So this was almost a review, but not really. More of a summary of my opinions of the cast.

  1. Some Like it Hot! YES time a BILLION, such a great film. And yes, he was such a beautiful man!
Also, I know what you mean...them as women shouldn't have worked...but it did somehow haha xD

    1. I can't believe I hadn't seen it; classic! Sugar's quotes are the best c: I'm glad someone agrees with me! Thanks for the comment! (checked out your blog, fab ~)
