On the weekend Em and I  decided to do some tie-dying of anything and everything that was white and cotton, I ended up dying a t-shirt, pair of sock and a bra. we're not known for our  successful craft projects so we were slightly dubious of how things would turn out.But Tie-dyes pretty easy and very hard to get wrong so the results were really fab. Yesterday we decided to document our efforts with a little photoshoot. My sister is a flawless queen as you can see.

non-uniform days

Summer mood

So, from saturday Sinead and I will not be able to blog as we are going to wales on a canal boating holiday. It promises to be a super tranquil trip and I plan to embroider,paint and collage for like the whole time. I also want to wear cute (nautical-ish) clothing and wave to cute boys as we pass them, on top of our narrowboat that will probably be named 'lucy' or something - so heres a cute outfit that would be perfect for that particular situation-

Hello lovelies, Its been a few days since I last updated, and I have to say not a lot has happened since then. Its been very warm for about a week and I have just wanted to go to the beach everyday but unfortunately due to everyone being on holiday I haven't been able to do this, instead I've been slowly working my way through my extended edition Lord of The Rings box set and eating far too much.Anyway a few days ago I picked up this top in the sale at River Island, usually i'm not the biggest fan of the store itself but I really like their Chelsea Girl range which is really cool and vintage looking, this top is from that range-  

Its really floaty and romantic. The lace and the high collar kind of reminds of the costumes in Picnic at Hanging Rock- 

I've also been keeping busy with my diary/scrapbook.  I really enjoying creating something that I will look back and probably laugh at!

S-s-summertime, summertime sadness

I think summer may have started.

 The weather has been absolutely perfect for the last few days, (although it probably won't last) I have 4 exams left and then I have finished secondary school, FOREVER. 

It's quite tough at the moment with all the revision and bleugh and I haven't blogged for a while, sorry. But I promise I will blog regularly in the summer.

anyways I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and document a summer outfit, I am sorry about my face i'm awful at posing..

weather permitting fashion

I thought I should compile a summer wish-list of clothes I wish that I could own (or afford!) These clothes are also weather permitting as English weather is often erratic and down right mean and doesn't always allow you to wear shorts. 

1- I really really want a new shirt (as my last one got ripped on a gate:( )  This one in particular is from Topshop, but I'm sure you can find one just as good in the men's section of any charity shop. 

2-I need me some lolita style heart shaped sunglasses, because who wouldn't benefit from wearing the cutest shaped sunglasses in the world. These are from - asos 

3- kimonos are just flawless and I have a few in my dressing up box, so I will definitely utilise them this summer. This Kimono is also Topshop

4. I have lots of clunky brogues and boots and their just too hot for summer I need some sandals that are clunky but keep my feet cool, This pair of shoes from Topshop will do the trick  

5. This shorts are just lovely, they are from a brand called madewell a brand I have never heard of) they are quite expensive; so I might just embroider some shorts I already have 

6. I have always wanted a really floaty tulle skirt that I can swish around everywhere unfortunately I don't know where this skirt is from :( 

7. This awesome Frida kahlo t-shirt is from Forever 21, It has given me a great idea for a stencilling project!!

should I feel this calm?

I know my blogging has been pretty lack lustre at the moment, but I promise I will be an exciting and interesting blogger after I've finished my exams!! I will- 

                    Document my outfits, more.

Anyway, I have purchased some very pretty things in the last few weeks, and I thought I should document them. 

I purchased a typewriter , a  cat purse for £3 from a fancy dress shop, Grimes - vision ( which is the most perfect album ) and oh comely

the best purchase of all time (i'm not exaggerating) has to be this mini typewriter I got for £3 in a charity shop, not only is adorably pocket-sized the colour matches my room perfectly. 

yesterday me and Sinead went into town, to look in party shops, for a joint party we are having in the summer, I decided to treat myself to Oh comely, The latest issue is especially beautiful, with lovely whimsical illustrations and photographs -

A few weeks ago I purchased this skirt from Topshop, Its got to be one of favourite items of clothing. It has a really cool shape, and the fluorescent flowers are just so cool.

a night to remember? part 2

Like I said in my last post, me and Sinead had a very lovely prom night. We played 'how many times can we swear at each other without anyone noticing across the dinner table'. We danced around the girls with massive dresses. We kicked off our heels and danced until 11: 30pm ON A SCHOOL NIGHT!

prom queen dream

I am literally peeing myself with excitement as prom in on in under 4 months. My main cause for excitement is that I get to choose a dress and shoes and possibly a bag. I'm planning on going for a pastel coloured 50's style prom dress with clunky platforms and a sparkly cardigan. Etsy is an absolute shrine of gorgeous 50's prom dresses and I have been torturing myself  looking at all of them for a few weeks. Anyway prom viiibbbess........
