could they melt in the sun?

I have to admit I’m pretty crazy about plastic shoes at the moment. So much so, that I am doing a whole blog post on them (yeah). I got my Juju shoes a few weeks ago and I haven’t peeled them off for as long. Mine are a cool bright pink and are just transparent enough so that you can see your socks through them. They look super great, really 90's and they remind of the 'Jellies' I wore when I was like 5.

Rookie did a super cool photo-shoot with Juju shoes,

check it out here

The only negatives of plastic shoes are that you get insanely sweaty feet, so I would recommend wearing them with socks. Also don't try walking any long distance in them as they will completely mangle your feet (I say this from experience) But please don't be put off, they are fabulous shoes that are perfect for the beach.

sorry about this awkward blogpost

love ya

weather permitting fashion

I thought I should compile a summer wish-list of clothes I wish that I could own (or afford!) These clothes are also weather permitting as English weather is often erratic and down right mean and doesn't always allow you to wear shorts.

1- I really really want a new shirt (as my last one got ripped on a gate:( )  This one in particular is from Topshop, but I'm sure you can find one just as good in the men's section of any charity shop.

2-I need me some lolita style heart shaped sunglasses, because who wouldn't benefit from wearing the cutest shaped sunglasses in the world. These are from - asos

3- kimonos are just flawless and I have a few in my dressing up box, so I will definitely utilise them this summer. This Kimono is also Topshop

4. I have lots of clunky brogues and boots and their just too hot for summer I need some sandals that are clunky but keep my feet cool, This pair of shoes from Topshop will do the trick

5. This shorts are just lovely, they are from a brand called madewell a brand I have never heard of) they are quite expensive; so I might just embroider some shorts I already have

6. I have always wanted a really floaty tulle skirt that I can swish around everywhere unfortunately I don't know where this skirt is from :(

7. This awesome Frida kahlo t-shirt is from Forever 21, It has given me a great idea for a stencilling project!!

I hope this has been helpfulxxx

lots of love

summer,maybe

Today, I really felt like summer wasn't far away. It was honestly a beautiful day (though still cold)
With summer comes summer clothes, and after a winter swathed in wooly tights and scarves, I really need some 'dancing space' in my clothes. So I've decided to try and dress and act like a free-spirited, flower-picking kinda grrl, and just lounge everywhere in kaftans, flowing skirts and wide sleeved tops. 70's style......

bye bye summer.

I went to Llama festival in early Summer. It was delightful. Here are some snippets of that weekend.

Tankus the Henge ; I don't even remember what their music was like, but their piano had a weird gauge thing on it and there was smoke coming out of it (my theory - time machine). Also they all had pretty dapper outfits on. So I took a picture.

Pretty beach (where I fell over twice).

Pretty Young Thing

Birds and sky

So au revior to you, Summer. I won't miss you that much, even though we had some nice times. I've missed cosy nights and dark mornings and hot water bottles and jumpers.
